Diamondbacks FanFest 2010

Hello fellow Dune Sea Garrison members,

I was wondering if any of you guys follow the Arizona Diamondbacks and plan to head out to the 2010 Diamondbacks FanFest. I will be driving down from Las Vegas to go to this event, and was wondering if any of you guys planned to go to. I haven't been to one of these before, but reading up on the event on the Dbacks forums, it sounds like a lot of fun. Here is some information on the event if anyone would like to head down to Chase Field.

For those who don't know, the Diamondbacks FanFest will be on February, Saturday the 13th from 10:am-5:00pm and Admission is Free.

I have been an Arizona Diamondbacks fan since their inaugural year in 1998. I'm definitely going to this FanFest, the only tough choice for me is do I wear Red or Purple?

I'll see how long I can stay! And sorry to say, but I'm not really a traveling trooper anymore. I'm just a civilian on the road. I probably need to get headed home that Sunday though. I plan to leave Vegas and get in the Phoenix area next Friday afternoon, I will stay overnight and do Chase Field all Saturday until around 5:00pm-6:00pm, then after that I'd be open.

I still own the costumes, I just want nothing to do with the garrison just north of you guys; the damage has been done and there's not much that can be done to fix it. I'm thinking of moving down to the Phoenix area in the next few years, so if that happens I'll definitely put in for a transfer of garrisons.

Andy, would you like to grab a bite to eat downtown since you'll be in the area? Either that or off of the I-17?
I was thinking Steve's Grill if downtown, love their burgers. Or if off the I-17 there's Fajita's, TGI Friday's and such by my area that's on the way out of town.
